  • Chapter Induction Ceremony - 19th March 2024 - Save the Date

    Upsilon Xi at Large Chapter will be hosting a virtual induction ceremony on Tuesday 19th March 2024 at 3.30pm (GMT) to induct new members and install new Chapter officers. Our speaker will be Dr Marie Louise Luiking the European Regional Co-ordinator.

  • Change of Date for Research and the Military veteran scholarly event

    This is to let you know that Professor Alan Finnegan's scholarly presentation on` Reseach and the Military Veteran' will now take place on the 14th December 2022 at 4pm (GMT) via Zoom and not the 13th December.

  • Reseach and the Military Veteran

    Professor Alan Finnegan will be providing a scholarly presentation on Research and the military Veteran on the 13th December 2022 at 4pm via Zoom..

    Alan is a Professor of Nursing and Military Mental Health (MMH) and Co- Director of the Westminster Centre for Research in Ageing, Mental Health and Veterans and a Sigma. He is also a Sigma International Nurse Researcher Hall of Fame Honoree.

  • Congratulations Michael Murphy PhD!

  • `The health experiences of asylum seekers and refugees in Wales’ by Dr Ashra Khanom

    The chapter is hosting a scholarly event on the Wednesday 5th July 2020 from 2-3pm (BST).
    Dr Ashra Khanom  who is a research fellow at Swansea University will be presenting her research on :
    `The health experiences of asylum seekers and refugees in Wales’.
    This will be delivered via Zoom.

    I know that the rest of the chapter will join me in wishing nurses across the globe a happy international nurses day! A genuine heart felt thank you to every single one of you. In these darkest of times, it is nurses who are shining a light! We are the backbone to health in the community and what we do truly deserves to be celebrated.

    Connie Sobon Sensor, President, Northeast Chapter of the Transcultural Nursing Society, Assistant Professor, Rutgers University School of Nursing, USA will be presenting on Influencing Policy and Sustainability in Healthcare from 1-2.30pm (BST).

    Saturday 23rd May 2020 - Alpha Alpha Gamma Chapter (Croatia) has their chartering ceremony at 2pm (BST). This will be lead by Professor Richard Ricciardi, PhD.
